AFRICAN FLOWER GRANNY CROCHET PATTERN

ABBREVIATIONS:

sl knot = slip knot
st = stitch
sl st = slip stitch (to fasten)
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
fo = fasten off
Rnd = round

AFRICAN FLOWER CROCHET PATTERN

1. Base Round – sl knot, ch 6, sl st into the first ch to make a ring.
2. Rnd 1 – ch 3, 1 dc, ch1, *2 dc, ch1, * repeat until you have six spaces and six 2dc. sl st to the 3rd chain of the beginning round. fo
3. Rnd 2 – Change color: Start in a space. ch 5, 2 dc in same space, *ch1, 2 dc, ch2, 2 dc in next space – repeat * 5 times, 1 dc and sl st into the 3rd ch of the beginning round.
4. Rnd 3 – ch3, dc6 in the 2-ch space, ch1, * dc7 in next 2-ch space, ch1, repeat * 5 times. sl st the 3rd ch of the beginning round. fo.
5. Rnd 4 – New color: ch1, sc around and make a long stitch down in round 2 between each flower petal. End with sl st. fo.
6. Rnd 5 – White: ch3, 3 dc, ch1, *dc 1 in the same st as last dc, dc 3, ch1 (skip long stitch of the previous round), 4 dc, ch1, repeat 5 times, dc 1 in the same st as last dc, dc 3 ch1, sl st to the 3rd ch from the beginning round. [Note: ch1 in bold should be at the center of the flower petal, this is the corner of the hexagon].
7. To join to the adjacent African Flower hexagon block, insert the hook to the matching ch stitch of another hexagon and do an sl st instead of ch.

 Am crosetat aceasta poseta circular, urmarind schema de mai jos:

R1: crosetam 5 ochi de lant, apoi inchidem inelul printr-un ochi alunecat (slst)

R2: 3 ochi de lant, 1 piciorus mare (dc), un ochi de lant , *2 picioruse mari si un ochi de lant*, se repeta de la  * la * .Total vom avea  2 picioruse mari si un ochi de lant x 6.

R3: schimbam culoarea si in ochiul de lant din randul anterior, crosetam 2 picioruse mari (dc), un ochi de lant, 2 picioruse mari (dc) x 6;

R4: in ochiul de lant dintre cei 4 ochi de lant din randul anterior, crosetam 7 picioruse mari x 6

R5:  crosetam 7  picioruse mici (sc) in cele 7 picioruse mari (dc) din randul anterior, apoi, crosetam un piciorus mare  (dc) introducand croseta in randul 2  x 6. Se croseteaza , de regula, cu un fir de contrast.
Dupa care, cu un fir de alta culoare, crosetam 9 picioruse mari (dc) - piciorusul 8 si 9 se croseteaza in acelasi piciorus mic din randul anterior, apoi crosetam 2 ochi de lant si repetam.

Asamblarea hexagoanelor crosetate se realizeaza , fie cu croseta, fie cu acul de cusut (se cos unul de altul).

Am inceput sa crosetez aceasta poseta dupa ..... o poza de pe  blogul  Neliei Botelho "Magia do crochet"

Se croseteaza un hexagon , dupa modelul de mai jos:

R1:Crosetam  7 ochi de lant, apoi,  inchidem inelul printr-un punct alunecat. 

R2:Crosetam 3 ochiuri de lant si in continuare 23 picioruse duble,  inchidem inelul printr-un pct alunecat.

R3: Crosetam 3 ochi de lant, 1 piciorus dublu in acelasi ochi unde am lucrat cei 3 ochi de lant,dupa care, crosetam  1 piciorus dubleu, apoi , 2 picioruse duble in acelasi ochi de lant (total 5 picioruse duble), 2 ochi de lant si se repeta: 2 picioruse duble in acelasi ochi de lant, 1 piciorus dublu, 2 picioruse duble in acelasi ochi de lant, 2 ochi de lant....pana inchidem inelul.

R4:  ....2 picioruse duble in acelasi ochi de lant, 3 picioruse duble, 2 picioruse duble in acelasi ochi de lant, 2 ochi de lant....pana inchidem inelul.
R5:.... 2 picioruse duble in acelasi ochi de lant, 5 picioruse duble, 2 picioruse duble in acelasi ochi de lant, 2 ochi de lant....pana inchidem inelul.

Continuam sa crosetam mai multe randuri , inmultind de o parte si alta a celor 2 ochi de lant crosetati , pana ajungem la dimensiunea dorita a posetei..

Eu am crosetat hexagonul din 31 randuri de picioruse mari, apoi, am continuat crosetatul pe o latura a  hexagonului, scazand, pana am ajuns la dimensiunea manerului. Simetric, am crosetat la fel si pe cealalta latura a hexagonului.
In continuare, am crosetat de jur imprejurul posetei un rand de picioruse mici (sc)
Separat, am crosetat 2 snururi simple din ochi de lant (ch) pe care le-am introdus in partile laterale ale posetei.
Am cusut manerele si am montat captuseala .
